Beijing Olympic on 08 08 08

So many people have been talking about this date. The August 8, 2008 day or well known as triple eight (888). The myth that goes around is that this day will bring luck to many that similar in the Chinese word which means wealth or prosper. But as this is just a belief of superstition, now Kabonfootprint want to try to expose the essence of this particular number where Beijing Olympic use as a part of their historical momentum.

This ancient Chinese mythology is brought up to the modern day that we are living now. Besides the meaning, the shape of the number has an endless twisted circle. Should you love philosophy, this is like the daily life. You have twist and turns, up and downs but all goes in one un-perfect circle.

Many couples thinks this date is a magical day and then decided to say the “Yes I do” on this day. Up until now Kabonfootprint is still confuse to decide to go to which wedding invitation. There are eight different couples that I know are having either their wedding ceremony or reception.

The Summer Olympic going to be celebrating their opening ceremony exactly based on the number eight. It is also officially known as the Games of the XXIX Olympiad. The Olympic slogan is One World, One Dream.

It’s is going to be hosted by Beijing, the capital city of the People’s Republic of China. Beijing was awarded for this after the ballot from the International Olympic Committee on 2001.

When

The Summer Olympics in Beijing are scheduled to open on 08 08 08 at 08:08:08 p.m. It will be celebrated from August 8 until August 24, 2008. Kabonfootprint will keep an eye on the television and watch many live coverage of the event.

Who

Many people, especially Chinese, believes that it will bring many success to all participating in this great even. More than ten thousand five hundred athletes are expected to compete in 302 game events in 28 sports.
