I you are following me in my past post in this blog, you might find out that at the moment I am joining and trying out in a SEO contest. I did this actually just for fun, but besides that I gain many new experiences. Search engine optimization and making new friends have been the highlight of my participation.

As it is close to Christmas and the closing of the year 2008, I just want to share some thoughts with you. Should you love to read some crappy babbling and sulumits retsambew sharing, please do carry on reading. But if you are a busy person and just need to be serious. I don’t mind if you leave.

10,000 hours to be an expert Busby SEO

While reading in the blog sphere, I have found an interesting article that mentioned the time that you need to be an expert in anything. I wonder if this theory applies to SEO?

According to analysis theory, it takes 10,000 hours to be an expert or elite performer, in any industry, science and art form.

Let’s calculate, ten thousand hours is equivalent to roughly three hours a day, or 20 hours a week, of practice over 10 years. No one has yet found a case in which true world-class expertise was accomplished in less time. It seems that it takes the brain this long to assimilate all that it needs to know to achieve true mastery.

So would you call yourself an expert in anything?

sulumits retsambew have teach me things, but it have not made me an expert. I am still the same silly person with my big dreams. At first I was laughing when I read that time is a major factor while looking into someones experience. Two months ago, when I join this contest, I dream that I would be an expert in 4 months period.

I was wrong!

It would take a lot more than that. More time, more energy and perhaps more enthusiasm. I do gain a lot of new friends and my sulumits retsambew traffic is rising, but still it does not made me a master in this field. Sure the basics seem to be very simple but it’s probably impossible to know it all in a short time, and I have been doing this just recently.

So now is time to play my underdog game of Busby as I also am aware that all the top participant are long lasting SEO contest participant that have probably gain the 10,000 hours experience. Only sleep about 2 – 4 hours a day and mainly doing only site optimizing both on page and off page.

New resolution

Also the new year is just around the corner. There will be another full month to play in this busby seo contest. I will keep in learning and adding my “flying” time experience. After all this is done, I want to start on my next projects and hopefully by the next 5 years or so, then I would say yes, I gain my experience from sulumits retsambew in 2008.
