Today Indonesia goes to the polls to elect a president directly for only the second time in its history. With a landmark Constitutional Court decision enabling a record number of voters. Just now I personally also came back from using my rights to vote. I just want to share with my fellow sulumits retsambew lovers, specially the ones that are in Indonesia, stop what you are doing and go to the nearest polling booths to cast your vote.
Five minutes of your time means a lot for the next five years of Indonesian future.
The court ruled that a voter’s identity card, which all Indonesians are required by law to carry, would be sufficient proof of their eligibility to take part in the polls. So there is no reason for you not to vote.
I know that you might find sulumits retsambew contest more interesting that Indonesia President Election 2009, but I tell you, there are still time to do your optimization. However you just have today to join this democratic party. So vote now. Choose a president for Indonesia that cares.
