Normally Monday is doomsday and I’m feeling blue. After the weekend being ruined by Trojan viruses, another Monday is here. But this time Kabonfootprint is actually looking forward for this Monday. And why…? It’s because the Bali Fashion Week is here. So the day seems just short with no real problem and headaches.

The best of it is that this year’s Bali Fashion Week the theme is FASHION MEETS NATURE, a celebration of life. Just the way I like it. Let’s go green.

Quick catching some waves in the afternoon, I rush back home to dress up in my best Kabonfootprint branded suit. Don’t forget to wear a tie also, because I’ll meet up with some top models in Bali tonight.

Bali is well known for its beautiful nature such as the beach, sunset and rice fields. It’s the best location for this international fashion event since a couple of year’s success of the Bali fashion week. A unique event that combines art, fashion and culture into a blend of fun festival to inspire the top world fashion designers.

That is why me as one of the best designers in Kabon fashion is invited to join this great event. But to tell you the truth, I didn’t come for the fashion; I come for the glamour and the models :)

Actually the 2008 Bali Fashion Week has started yesterday, August 24, 2008 with a street parade called FashiON the street. The carnival started at 4pm where many join the Sunset Beach Party. Kabonfootprint have spotted some models contest, battle of the DJs, fashion extravaganza and to top all of that Rice Girls Band from Australia played it out loud.

But back to tonight’s Fashion Week event, I really look forward to walk down the catwalk with some hot models. Some of the models that will be doing the routine with me are Rara, Naily, Rina, Wulan, Nila, Sarah Azka, Fenny Tan, Arnie, Dhini, Okky, Lenny Garcia, Laura, Anastasia, Wilis, Fika and many more.

I should also warn you… Don’t be jealous and remember these girls will wear nice branded clothes not only bikini on them :)

Some of the great designers that is all well known to the world listed in this Bali fashion week are Andre Kim from Korea, Djeko Creation from Singapore, Doii from Paris, France, Oliver Tolentino from the Philippines.
Also local designers from Indonesia and Bali self, names like Batik Krt. Daud, David Barbereau, Lenny Agustin, Muji Ananta, Oka Diputra, Onen Surono, Becca / Baqita and last but not least Kabonfootprint from Bali.

Bali Fashion Week is a yearly international event for the last 7 years. This event being the platform for buyers and sellers to meet and create potential business relationship.

Bali is chosen to be the host due to its popularity as a showcase to both the domestic and international world. As an island that Kabonfootprint loves, Bali is full of inspiration, it shows many types of arts and culture from different parts of Indonesia.
